About the project
The Warrior Sailing Program is dedicated to maritime education for wounded, ill and injured service members of the US military. We facilitate opportunities, communicating experiences, and build partnerships between the military and marine communities while eliminating the barriers to entry and promoting continued engagement.
Graduates from our camps have various opportunities to use the skills taught by our professional staff and coaches. Charleston Race Week is a high level regatta that Warrior Sailing participants want to attend!
We need outside financial assistance to make sure this is a cost free adventure for these new sailors.
Charleston Race Week is one of many regattas this season and Warrior Sailing is dedicated to immerse camp graduates in the sport of sailing!
The money raised will go directly to support 10 Warrior Sailors to race in Charleston Race Week April 14-17. The vessels and on-water support is being provided by the USMMA Sailing Foundation, but additional funds are needed to make this regatta a reality.
