About the project

In 2013 I ranked Number One in both Great Britain and Europe for the T11 (totally blind) 100m. The following year I broke the T11 indoor 60m British Record and went on to represent England at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games where I placed 5th in the T11/12 100m at my first Major Championships. Since then a combination of injury, illness and financial constraints resulted in a rough 2015 and non selection for the European Championships taking place in June 2016. Despite being injured after the Commonwealths I had to stop all physio/sports massage due to financial reasons and evidently this impacted severely on my progress. Therefore, this year I began to receive treatment again and the benefit is already proving to be massive. On 18 May 2016 I ran my fastest time ever over a first run and currently find myself topping the European rankings once more. However, I have to self-fund my Athletics career and I’m struggling to cover the on-going physio/sports massage costs. Please help me to fulfil my potential as I endeavour to sprint to success.
